Dr. Oqba Al-Kuran is a leading Consultant in Maternal and Fetal Medicine, dedicated to providing the highest level of care for expectant mothers and their babies. As an Associate Professor at the University of Jordan, and Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist, as well as the Head of the Maternal and Fetal Medicine Division at the Jordan University Hospital, Dr. Al-Kuran combines extensive clinical expertise with a compassionate, patient-centered approach.
With over two decades of experience, Dr. Al-Kuran earned his MB BS from the University of Jordan in 1995 and continued his advanced training in the United Kingdom, where he obtained his FRCOG from the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists in 2000. He further specialized by completing a Maternal and Fetal Medicine fellowship at Queen's Medical Center in Nottingham, UK. Dr. Al-Kuran also holds the RCOG / RCR Advanced Obstetric Ultrasound Diploma, underscoring his expertise in advanced fetal diagnostics.
As a highly respected professional in his field, Dr. Al-Kuran holds the Jordanian board in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and is an active member of several prestigious organizations, including the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists in the UK and the Jordanian Medical Council. He is also a member of the Obstetrics and Gynaecology Scientific Committee and the Medical Negligence Sub-committee within the Ministry of Health.
